Question: Where do you see Edutainment in the next five years?

Answer: I see Edutainment & Convergence as the future of learning, business and living in the next five years. One can already see the learning in the form of iTunesU podcasts with major universities distributing courses online for free, YouTube is also featuring courses from major universities like MIT, Stanford and Duke. Businesses will use Edutainment & Convergence as part of its social media campaign to educate consumers and persuade them to buy or support a service.

As I said earlier, I actually started this research of

combining them to bring back the arts & sciences as one holistic learning eco-system with a learner-centered approach that is heavy on communication, collaboration, interactive and the use of online technology to foster this collaboration, communication, learning, process instructions and more. edutainment - the use fusion of education, communications, the arts and entertainment methods, research and approaches in a concrete and theoretical approaches. The fusion of multiple technologies into one technology or multiple technologies and can often be seen in miniature devices like smart phones and large devices like flat screen TVs and computers which can upload data and content and transfer content and store it online or on devices. The handheld convergence devices are owned by more than 90percent of learners in higher education and at least 80 percent of high school students.

People are already tied to their smartphones as another body appendage and for negotiating through life which McLuhan (1967) predicted nearly 5 decades ago. Can you imagine life without the Internet and smartphones and laptops and iPods and YouTube? Wow!

Are you sure that that's Answer and not just an extreme example of enquiry?

Sure it is an answer! It is a transcript! There is no rule that states that states that an "extreme example of enquiry" cannot suffice as an answer. Actually, the more relevant question is this: what constitutes an "extreme example of enquiry." The use of the word extreme almost puts you in a precarious position because you are making a value judgment on research that has been going on for close than a decade with under some pretty tough scrutiny.

I don't questions, I am curious as to what specifically you are referring to in your question. In fact, one could argue that any cutting edge enquiry could be referred to as extreme. During the 1980s, Star Wars technology was regarded as extreme enquiry and now we have weapons capable of shooting down falling satellites with one shot, stealth technology and surveillance technology that monitors phone calls, Internet transmissions, electronics, automobiles, computers, homes and more.

So what is regarded by extreme yesterday is forward thinking now! Your use of extreme is an interesting compliment.
